Please complete this form and with the required information. Outreach Committee members are appointed on a monthly basis or as necessary due to immediate needs.

As a member of the Outreach committee, you are expected to attend scheduled conference calls and/or meetings as needed as participation is the key to being on a VPPPA committee. If you are unable to attend a committee call/meeting you are expected to contact your VPPPA Committee Chair either by e-mail or phone. Your submission of this form indicates your supervisor’s approval.

Position Descriptions
State Coordinators – Responsible for the coordination of Outreach and Education activities within their state. Activities are Trade Shows, Safety Conferences, etc. This position will also coordinate volunteers to attend scheduled events throughout the state. State Coordinators will be required to maintain a close working relationship with the Outreach Committee Chair Person and Director and provide regular updates prior to each Board of Directors meeting. There can be more than 1 State Coordinator per state if necessary.

Event Volunteers – Event volunteers are the backbone of Outreach and Education. This position will be responsible for manning the Outreach Booth in their area at scheduled events and provide information to event attendees about the benefits of the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) and the Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association (VPPPA). These volunteers also man the Outreach Booth at the National and Region VI VPPPA Conference’s if in attendance.
