May is National Electrical Safety Month, and the ESFI (Electrical Safety Foundation International) has a free PDF toolkit to help inform people about electricity and safety concerns, especially at home.
The PDF contains a lot of really good information. Some of it is basic, such as the different types of ways to generate electricity (solar, wind, etc.). Other information in the PDF is more specific, such as information on electric cars and what you should know before getting one (for instance, if your house is wired properly to safely handle charging one). For the cost of nothing but a little time, its definitely worth getting the toolkit to read over.
