IMIST (International Minimum Industry Safety Training) is an online safety training system for the oil and gas industry. Like other online e-learning systems, IMIST hopes to provide easier and more cost effective training for those who need it. What's unique about IMIST, though, is that it apparently gives the student an assessment quiz, then determines what the person most needs to learn and creates a custom course for him or her.

This really sounds like a neat program, and would definitely be worth looking into for anyone working in the oil and gas industry. You can find out more about IMIST on their website: www.imist-online.com.
