VPPPA and VPP
The Voluntary Protection Program Participants' Association (VPPPA) provides expertise to OSHA, DOE, and the EPA in the form of comments and stakeholder feedback on agency rulemakings and policies. The VPPPA also offers comments and testimony to members of Congress regarding legislation on safety and health issues. The Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) were established by OSHA to promote effective safety and health management systems through a partnership between management, labor, and OSHA. Approval into VPP is OSHA’s official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health at their worksite.
